Over the years, WCSP has accumulated fine academic tradition with disciplines famous both in China and overseas. WCSP currently offers two undergraduate programs – Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy. WCSP is authorized to grant Doctor's and Master's degrees of the first-tier discipline of Pharmacy, with 1 Post-doctoral Research Station of Pharmacy. Pharmaceutics is listed as the state-level key discipline, and Medicinal Chemistry is listed as the key discipline of Sichuan Province. The discipline of Pharmacy has been ranked 3^rd in the 2022 Ranking of Chinese Universities in Soft Sciences, and 1^st among comprehensive universities. The ESI ranking of Pharmacology and Toxicology is among the top 1‰ on a global scale (0.647‰), and in 2021, Pharmacology and Toxicology ranked 51-100 in QS world rankings. The discipline of Clinical Pharmacy has been ranked 1^st in the 2022 Ranking of Chinese Universities in Soft Sciences.
